BURN BAN IN EFFECT

Good afternoon Ranches at Buckhorn Creek Landowners.

Yesterday I posted in the TownSq and our Ranches at Buckhorn Creek Facebook Group that Houston County is under a Burn Ban. There is a Burn Ban for Houston County due to the increased risk of Fire. This includes ALL BURNING.

If you have not done so already, you should follow the Crockett Fire Department on Facebook to keep current when burn bans are issued and lifted.

Additionally, you should Register for text alerts as I have from the Houston County Emergency Alert System here on the Houston County Fire Marshal Office & Office of Emergency Management's page.
