Annual Meeting & Board Election Correction

Good afternoon fellow Ranches at Buckhorn Creek landowners. I am in receipt of a correction on the what will transpire prior to the Board Election in February. Next week, Goodwin TX & Co will be mailing out to each landowner a single mailing to include meeting notice, proxy, board nomination form and 2025 budget.


I invite other interested community members who want to serve on the POA Board to submit their board nominations via mail as soon as you receive the mailing from Goodwin TX & Co.


If you will not be in attendance of the February 21, 2025 @ 6pm Annual Meeting then you can assign a written proxy as detailed in A.9. of our Bylaws; this will be included in Goodwin TX & Co's mailing. The proxy must be present at the Annual Meeting to cast a vote.


To be able to hold the virtual Annual Meeting, a quorum of 20% of the members must be present or by proxy, which equates to 14 lot owners per A.7 of our Bylaws.


No Quorum= No Annual Meeting= No Election of Board Members


Also, Per 5.04 of our CCRs the Association has 2 classes of voting memberships and the "Developer shall be entitled to ten (10) votes for each Tract owned." Each Tract, other than those owned by the Developer, shall have only one vote regardless of the number of Owners of the Tract.


I am hopeful that we will meet quorum for our Annual Meeting and look forward to seeing our community members February 21 at 6pm (virtual)! You should have received the Zoomlink for this annual meeting via email and it is posted on TownSq for your convenience as well.
